Windows 7 Drivers for Canon

This section lists Canon driver and software updates to download for Windows 7. Much of Canon's older hardware (and software) was not designed for Windows 7 (or even Vista), so they may require an update or new driver in order to operate correctly on Windows 7. In some cases in may mean that you need to purchase a new printer or scanner. Before doing that, try the Windows 7 compatability mode.

As a general rule, most users of Windows 7 are not reporting anywhere near the same number of driver issues that they had with Windows Vista. Many drivers are included in the Windows 7 installation, but you still may need to download add-on components to increase the functionality of a piece of hardware.
